Lido is now on Layer 2 Protocols Arbitrum and Optimism

Ethereum liquid staking protocol Lido has announces expansion to the layer 2 networks Arbitrum Bridge and Optimism.

Lido users can now bridge their staked ETH to L2 protocols at the click of a button to benefit from lower gas fees and exciting DeFi opportunities.

Phase 1 of Lidos’s L2 roll-out features direct wstETH bridging to Arbitrum One and Optimism, preserving the unique properties of stETH in the process. Lido choosed wstETH for its ease of integration across various DeFi partners.

Using this link you can wrap your stETH and bridge wstETH to Arbitrum One or to Optimism.

From October 7, Lido will distribute 150,000 LDO tokens as rewards for wstETH across all networks and bargain liquidity mining incentives for various DeFi partners, including beethoven, Balancer, Curve Finance, Kyber Network, and VelodromeFi, to build wstETH liquidity.
