The Cool Cats Group LLC, the web3 company behind the “blue-chip” NFT project Cool Cats gets strategic investment from Animoca Brands, the leading digital property rights firm. The partnership will push the Cool Cats’ mission to become the prominent and largest global NFT brand.
The collaboration also aims to make Cool Cats a robust media and content company while expanding Animoca Brands’ gaming offerings. This strategic partnership marks a longstanding relationship between Co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca brand Yat Siu and Executive Chairman of Cool Cats Group Ken Cron.
To celebrate this partnership, Yat Siu also picked up a few Cool Cats including #7807 NFT, as per his tweet. Animoca Brands is actively progressing in terms of expanding its offering and most recently the firm acquired WePlay Media.
Siu also showed his enthusiasm for this collaboration saying “Cool Cats is a leading example of metaverse native IP based on the principle of decentralized ownership.” He went on to say “Ken is one of the most experienced gaming and media executives in the world, and it has been my pleasure to have him as an Advisor to Animoca Brands’ Board of Directors for the past two years.”
