A Russian political protest art collective, Pussy Riot has launched an ETH wallet ‘LegalAbortion.eth’ to protect reproductive rights.
LegalAbortion.eth is an Ethereum wallet which will serve as a donation hub for leading reproductive rights organizations, and is set up by the Unicorn DAO.
The wallet has multi-Sig signers including Pussy Riot, UnicornDAO, ppl pleasr, and UkraineDAO deployer vegsurfer, to name a few.
The funds collected will be donated to seven organizations namely:
- Center for Reproductive Rights
- Fund Texas Choice
- Sister Song
- NARAL Pro-Choice America
- Fòs Feminista
- Planned Parenthood
- URGE
This wallet for donations was made by UnicornDAO because not all organizations have ETH addresses yet. Donations can be made in ETH and USDC by the cryptocurrency owners.

Over $18,054 in donations have already been made to LegalAbortion.eth. All of these donations will be made through community foundation ‘Endaoment’, which will deduct its 1.5 percent fees before distributing the money to the aforementioned groups.
LegalAbortion.eth was created in light of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, allowing American states to ban abortions.
UnicornDAO has also put out a call for projects and ideas that integrates the Legal Abortion wallet.
The DAO will also host Authentic Autonomy, a gallery to support reproductive rights. All proceeds from this exhibition will also go to the above mentioned organizations.
