The government of Ukraine sold a donated CryptoPunk #5364 NFT for about $100,000.
The news was announced by the country’s deputy minister of digital transformation, Alex Bornyakov.
The NFT was sold to an anonymous buyer for about 90 ETH.
The NFT was donated to the government in early March during its fundraising campaign for the war against Russia.
The NFT was worth about $260,000 when it was first donated to the country’s Ethereum wallet.
Ukraine has raised more than $135 million in crypto donations since the war began.
