After revealing himself as a serious buyer of NFTs under the pseudonym Cozomo De’ Medici, Snoop Dogg continues to expand his reach into the crypto world. Snoop Dogg has offered one of his collected NFT, CryptoPunk 3831 for 7000 ETH.
We found about this sale directly on the Larvalabs. The offer is in place from September 20. At the current market price it is around $29 millions.
The NFT is one of the 88 Zombie punks of the whole collection, which contains some rare accessories such as Vampire Hair, Big Shades, and Medical Mask. The punk 3831 has rank 61 and rarity score of 380.72 on rarity.tools.
The CryptoPunk NFT 3831 came on a long journey, as its first sale was just for 1 ETH (which was around $269) in 2017. After that sale, famous NFT collector Pranksy had acquired this NFT for 180 ETH ($516,685) in May 2021. Later various collectors traded it for different values, sometimes even for less than what they bought it for. In August he collected this NFT for 1500 ETH.
Snoop had first made an offer for 6000 ETH, which was later changed by him and increased to 7000 ETH. If this CryptoPunk NFT will sell for this amount, then it will become the most expensive CryptoPunk NFT in history.
