How to Buy SpaceX Stock (SPCX) on Crypto Exchanges in 2026: Tokenized Shares and Perpetuals

SpaceX is now publicly traded, but the SPCX, SPCXx, SPCXon, and SPCXB products appearing across crypto platforms do not all provide the same legal or economic rights. This guide explains what each product represents, where it is available and how to avoid buying the wrong token.

The Answer in Brief

SpaceX completed its initial public offering (IPO) in June 2026 and began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker SPCX on June 12. The company sold 555.6 million shares at $135 each in the base offering, raising approximately $75 billion. Including the underwriters’ full overallotment exercise, SpaceX issued approximately 638.9 million shares and raised about $85.7 billion, making it the largest IPO completed to date.

SpaceX’s $85.7 billion IPO has significant market impact, with SPCX trading near $116, below its $135 IPO price
Investors can gain SpaceX exposure through various crypto products, but each has distinct economic rights and risks
Tokenized products like SPCXx, SPCXon, and SPCXB offer different levels of backing and voting rights, affecting their market value

Crypto users can now gain SpaceX exposure in three fundamentally different ways:

  1. Real SPCX shares through a brokerage or a crypto-native securities platform
  2. Asset-backed tokenized products such as SPCXx, SPCXon, SPCXB, or Backpack’s SPCX
  3. Perpetual futures that track SPCX without holding any SpaceX shares

As of late July 2026, SPCX was trading near $116, below its $135 IPO price. Prices change continuously, so readers should check a live Nasdaq or broker quote before placing an order.

The most important distinction is simple: a SpaceX-branded crypto token is not automatically a SpaceX share.

The publicly traded security is SpaceX Class A common stock. According to the company’s IPO prospectus, each Class A share carries one vote, while each Class B share carries 10 votes. A tokenized tracking product or perpetual contract does not automatically transfer those corporate-law rights to its holder.

Three Ways to Get SpaceX Exposure Through Crypto Platforms

RouteWhat the buyer holdsBacked by SPCX shares?LeverageShareholder rightsBest suited to
Direct SPCX sharesA security entitlement or brokerage position in SpaceX stockYes—this is the stockUsually noGenerally yes, subject to brokerage structureLonger-term equity ownership
Tokenized SpaceX productA blockchain token issued under a separate legal frameworkUsually, but structure variesUsually noUsually limited or absentFractional and on-chain exposure
SPCX perpetualA derivative contract tracking the stock priceNoYesNoShort-term trading, hedging and speculation

An “on-chain” product is not automatically a fourth category. A token traded through Orca, Jupiter or another decentralized exchange may still be an asset-backed tokenized security. Similarly, an on-chain Hyperliquid market may be a purely synthetic perpetual.

The blockchain tells investors where a product moves and settles. The issuer’s legal documents determine what the product represents.

Reality Check: What Are You Actually Buying?

SPCX: Real SpaceX Stock

SPCX is the Nasdaq ticker for SpaceX Class A common stock.

A person who purchases SPCX through a conventional regulated broker holds a brokerage entitlement to the real security. Crypto-native platforms including Backpack Securities and, in supported markets, Binance Stocks also advertise direct stock access rather than only tokenized price exposure. Binance distinguishes its direct SPCX stock product from its separate SPCXUSDT perpetual contract.

Direct ownership remains subject to the broker’s custody arrangements, customer terms, securities laws and regional availability.

SPCXx or SPCXX: SpaceX xStock

SPCXx, sometimes displayed as SPCXX, is an xStocks product issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited.

xStocks says each token is backed one-to-one by the corresponding underlying security held in regulated custody. However, Kraken and Bybit explicitly state that owning SPCXx does not make the tokenholder a registered SpaceX shareholder or automatically provide voting rights.

The product can be purchased on centralized platforms and transferred to supported blockchains. Most xStocks trade 24 hours a day, five days a week on Kraken, while on-chain transfers and DEX trading may continue during weekends. Prices can move away from Nasdaq’s last quoted price when the underlying market is closed or on-chain liquidity is thin.

SPCXon: Ondo’s SpaceX Token

SPCXon is Ondo Finance’s tokenized SpaceX product.

Ondo describes its tokenized stocks as total-return trackers designed to reflect the underlying share’s price and reinvested dividends, after applicable withholding tax. The product is backed through U.S. stocks, ETFs and cash held with broker-dealers, with backing reviewed by an independent verification agent.

SPCXon does not give its holder the right to receive the underlying SpaceX share. Eligible users can generally redeem through Ondo for the asset’s cash value in dollars or stablecoins rather than requesting delivery of an SPCX share.

SPCXB: Binance bStock

SPCXB is the tokenized SpaceX product in Binance’s bStocks framework.

Binance says bStocks are issued by BTech Holdings Limited and backed one-to-one by U.S. shares held with a regulated custodian. They are BEP-20 assets that can be held on Binance or transferred through BNB Smart Chain where supported.

A bStock is not direct ownership of the underlying company. Its holder receives exposure under the token’s offering terms rather than becoming a registered SpaceX shareholder.

Binance also operates a separate Binance Stocks product. That means users may encounter three different SpaceX instruments on the same broader platform:

  • Direct SPCX stock
  • SPCXB tokenized stock
  • SPCXUSDT perpetual futures

Investors should confirm which section of the platform they are using before placing an order.

Backpack SPCX

Backpack Securities offers both conventional SPCX holdings and a tokenized SPCX asset on Solana.

The tokenized version is unusual because Backpack says it can be deposited into Backpack Securities and converted into a traditional security entitlement. Eligible customers can also transfer conventional securities using ACATS- and DTCC-compatible infrastructure.

Backpack’s structure therefore provides a more direct pathway between an on-chain token and the corresponding security than products that offer only cash redemption.

Eligibility remains essential. Backpack Securities says its stock service is not available to users in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, or Japan and is not offered through Backpack EU.

SPCX Perpetual Futures

An SPCX perpetual is a derivative. It can provide long or short price exposure, often with leverage, but it is not backed by a SpaceX share.

Perpetual contracts have no scheduled expiry. Funding payments and index or oracle systems are used to keep the contract price aligned with SPCX. A trader can lose the entire margin balance, or more than the intended risk if protections are not used, without ever owning any part of SpaceX.

Kraken says xStocks are generally unavailable in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Its India-specific SPCXx page also currently states that the product is unavailable in India. Bybit applies its own restrictions and says its SPCXX spot product is unavailable in the EEA as well as other restricted regions.

Binance says bStocks are not offered in the United States or to U.S. persons. Its exact list of eligible countries may differ from the xStocks list.

Availability is product-specific. A platform operating in a country does not necessarily mean its stock, tokenized-stock or derivatives services are available there.

Ondo supports tokenized stocks across Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana. Direct minting and redemption generally operate 24/5, while issued tokens can be transferred or traded on-chain outside those hours, subject to market liquidity and restrictions.

xStocks says its products are available across multiple chains, including Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain, Mantle, and TON. Its general restrictions exclude U.S., UK, Canadian, and Australian residents, as well as sanctioned jurisdictions.

Verify the Contract Before Buying

Ticker symbols are not unique on public blockchains. Anyone can create a token called SPCX, SpaceX or SPCXX.

At the time of publication, two important Solana addresses are:

xStocks SPCXxXs3oZwbHvqis4NYcf4YKWmEia2eC84wSiVrcYcTqpH8

The xStocks EVM contract displayed for SPCXx is:

0x68fa48b1c2fe52b3d776e1953e0e782b5044ce28

The Backpack address is confirmed by Backpack and Bybit’s on-chain product documentation, while the xStocks address is listed by supporting exchanges and blockchain explorers.

Before signing a swap:

  1. Open the issuer’s official product page.
  2. Choose the intended blockchain.
  3. Copy the address from the issuer or an officially linked venue.
  4. Compare every character with the token shown in the wallet.
  5. Review liquidity, holder distribution and price impact.
  6. Reject any token whose price is dramatically different from SPCX without a documented reason.

Do not rely on the token name, logo or ticker alone.

SpaceX Perpetuals: The Higher-Volume Trading Route

Tokenized spot products require an issuer or market maker to obtain and custody actual SpaceX shares. Perpetual futures do not.

That structural difference became visible during the SpaceX listing.

On June 12, the xyz:SPCX perpetual on Hyperliquid generated approximately $1.4 billion in daily volume, accounting for around 30% of all HIP-3 trading that day. In the three weeks before the IPO, it had averaged approximately $26 million a day.

By contrast, several tokenized IPO allocation programs struggled to source enough underlying shares. Kraken returned funds for unfilled orders, while other platforms also failed to receive their requested allocations.

Independent HIP-3 analytics estimated that SPCX produced approximately $6.86 billion in 30-day volume through TradeXYZ by July 22, ranking it among that venue’s most active markets. The estimate is based on on-chain fills and should not be treated as an audited exchange statement.

This does not mean a perpetual is safer or better. It means synthetic markets can expand without purchasing an equivalent number of shares.

Why Hyperliquid’s SPCX Market Attracted Traders

The product offers:

  • Long and short positions
  • Continuous trading outside Nasdaq hours
  • Leverage
  • On-chain order execution
  • USDC-based margin
  • No requirement to custody SPCX shares

It also carries risks absent from unleveraged spot holdings:

  • Liquidation
  • Hourly funding payments
  • Oracle risk
  • Weekend and off-hours price dislocations
  • Smart-contract and protocol risk
  • Lower liquidity during certain sessions
  • No ownership or redemption rights

The SPCX contract operates through the XYZ HIP-3 market infrastructure. XYZ defines its markets, oracle sources and leverage parameters, while execution and settlement occur on Hyperliquid.

Hyperliquid is not the only venue offering an SPCX perpetual. Verified products have also appeared on:

BybitSPCXUSDTPerpetual with up to 10x leverage
OKXSPCXUSDTUSDT-settled equity perpetual
BitgetSPCXUSDTStock-linked perpetual
Coinbase InternationalSPCX-PERPUSDC-settled perpetual

Bybit announced the post-IPO SPCXUSDT contract with leverage of up to 10 times. OKX converted its pre-IPO product into a standard equity perpetual on June 12. Coinbase International’s SPCX-PERP is a USDC-settled linear contract with a stated maximum of 10 times leverage.

These products are not necessarily available in the same countries as the platforms’ ordinary crypto markets.

How to Buy Tokenized SpaceX on a Centralized Exchange

The interface differs by platform, but the basic process is similar.

Step 1: Confirm Your Eligibility

Check the specific product’s regional notice before depositing funds.

Do not assume that eligibility for ordinary crypto spot trading includes tokenized securities. Kraken, Bybit, Binance, Ondo, and Backpack each apply different geographic and investor restrictions.

Attempting to bypass restrictions with a VPN may breach the platform’s terms and could result in account limitations or frozen withdrawals.

Step 2: Complete Identity Verification

Centralized platforms generally require identity verification before allowing access to securities-linked products.

Depending on the platform, additional questionnaires may test the customer’s understanding of tokenized securities or derivatives.

Step 3: Fund the Account

Common funding methods include:

  • USDT
  • USDC
  • Fiat currency
  • Bank transfer
  • Another cryptocurrency converted into the required quote asset

Check the trading pair before depositing. An SPCXX/USDT market cannot necessarily be purchased directly with USDC or local fiat without first converting the funds.

Step 4: Search the Exact Ticker

Search for the platform-specific product:

  • SPCXx or SPCXX for xStocks
  • SPCXON for Ondo’s token
  • SPCXB for Binance bStocks
  • SPCX for a direct stock or Backpack token
  • SPCXUSDT or SPCX-PERP for derivatives

Open the product information page and confirm whether the result is categorized as a stock, spot token or futures contract.

Step 5: Review the Market

Before ordering, compare:

  • Token price against Nasdaq SPCX
  • Bid-ask spread
  • Available depth
  • Trading fees
  • Withdrawal support
  • Redemption terms
  • Whether the underlying market is currently open

A token can trade at a premium or discount to the stock when arbitrage and redemption are unavailable.

Step 6: Place the Order

A market order prioritizes immediate execution but can produce unexpected slippage.

A limit order gives the buyer control over the maximum purchase price. This can be especially useful during weekends, volatile sessions, or periods of thin token liquidity.

Step 7: Decide Where to Hold It

The buyer may:

  • Leave the token in the exchange account
  • Withdraw it to a supported self-custodied wallet
  • Sell it later through the same exchange
  • Use an eligible issuer redemption process
  • Deploy it into a supported DeFi protocol

Every additional transfer introduces network, address, and smart-contract risk.

Platform-Specific CEX Guides

How to Buy SPCXx on Kraken

  1. Create and verify a Kraken account.
  2. Confirm that xStocks are available in your country.
  3. Search for SPCXx.
  4. Review the tokenized-stock disclosure.
  5. Choose the purchase currency and enter the amount.
  6. Review the quote and fees.
  7. Confirm the order.
  8. Where supported, withdraw SPCXx to a compatible wallet.

Kraken says purchases can begin from as little as $1. It also states that SPCXx holders do not receive SpaceX shareholder rights. Redemption may be available through Backed, subject to eligibility, fees and the product prospectus.

How to Buy SPCXX on Bybit

  1. Complete Bybit identity verification.
  2. Deposit or purchase USDT.
  3. Open the Spot section.
  4. Search for SPCXX/USDT.
  5. Confirm that the result is the xStocks spot product, not SPCXUSDT futures.
  6. Select a market or limit order.
  7. Enter the desired quantity.
  8. Review and submit.

Bybit says SPCXX is fully collateralized under the xStocks framework. Direct redemption is not available through Bybit, so an investor’s exit on the exchange depends on available market liquidity.

How to Buy SPCXB on Binance

  1. Confirm that bStocks are available in your jurisdiction.
  2. Open Binance Spot and locate the bStocks section.
  3. Search for SPCXB.
  4. Select the available SPCXB trading pair.
  5. Enter the purchase amount.
  6. Review the order and bStocks risk disclosure.
  7. Submit the trade.
  8. Where enabled, hold the token on Binance or withdraw it through BNB Smart Chain.

Binance also allows eligible users to obtain some bStocks by buying the corresponding stock through Binance Stocks and enabling token conversion. Direct SPCX and SPCXB should not be treated as interchangeable holdings because their legal structures differ.

How to Buy SPCXon on WEEX

  1. Verify that SPCXON is available in your region.
  2. Complete required account verification.
  3. Deposit USDT.
  4. Search for SPCXON/USDT.
  5. Review the spread and order-book depth.
  6. Enter a limit or market order.
  7. Confirm the purchase.
  8. Check whether SPCXON withdrawals are currently enabled.

WEEX launched SPCXON/USDT in June 2026. Its initial notice said deposits and withdrawals would become available later, making it important to check the current status rather than assuming the token can immediately be withdrawn on-chain.

How to Buy SPCXx on Luno

  1. Confirm that SPCXx is available in the local Luno app.
  2. Complete identity verification.
  3. Add fiat or crypto funds.
  4. Search for SPCXx.
  5. Choose Instant Buy.
  6. Enter the investment amount.
  7. Review the quoted price and costs.
  8. Confirm the transaction.

Luno describes SPCXx as a one-to-one-backed token providing SpaceX price exposure without direct share ownership or voting rights.

How to Buy Tokenized SpaceX on Solana

Two prominent Solana products use similar names:

  • Backpack Securities SPCX
  • xStocks SPCXx

They have different issuers, contract addresses and redemption models.

Buying Backpack SPCX Through Orca or Jupiter

  1. Install a compatible Solana wallet, such as Backpack or Phantom.
  2. Fund the wallet with USDC and a small amount of SOL for network fees.
  3. Open Orca or Jupiter from a verified URL.
  4. Paste the official Backpack SPCX address:
    SPCXxcqXj6e5dJDVNovHN8744zkbhM2bYudU45BimGb
  5. Select USDC or another supported payment asset.
  6. Review the market price, price impact and minimum received.
  7. Approve the swap.
  8. Confirm the token appears under the correct mint address.

Orca says Backpack’s SPCX is available through liquidity provided with Sunrise and can be redeemed into the underlying security through Backpack Securities.

Redemption requires an eligible Backpack Securities account. Possessing the token in a permissionless wallet does not guarantee that the holder qualifies to use the brokerage conversion service.

Buying SPCXx Through a Solana DEX

  1. Visit the official xStocks product directory.
  2. Confirm the current Solana mint for SPCXx.
  3. Fund a Solana wallet with USDC and SOL.
  4. Open a supported DEX or aggregator.
  5. Paste the official mint:
    Xs3oZwbHvqis4NYcf4YKWmEia2eC84wSiVrcYcTqpH8
  6. Compare the quoted price with Nasdaq SPCX.
  7. Set an appropriate slippage limit.
  8. Approve the swap and verify settlement.

SPCXx can also exist on other supported chains. Never assume that a contract found on one blockchain is valid on another.

Buying SPCXon Through Ondo

Eligible users can obtain SPCXon through the Ondo application or through supported exchanges and on-chain integrations.

For direct minting:

  1. Open Ondo’s official SPCXon asset page.
  2. Connect a compatible wallet.
  3. Complete Ondo’s KYC and eligibility process.
  4. Select the supported network.
  5. Choose the amount to mint.
  6. Review the quote, fees, and redemption terms.
  7. Pay using the supported dollar or stablecoin asset.
  8. Confirm the transaction.

Ondo’s direct minting and redemption services generally operate 24/5. Tokens already issued can move on-chain during weekends, although prices and liquidity may diverge from Nasdaq while the equity market is closed.

How to Trade the SPCX Perpetual on Hyperliquid

The SpaceX equity perpetual is accessed through the XYZ HIP-3 market rather than the standard crypto-perpetual balance.

Step 1: Open a Compatible Interface

Use TradeXYZ or another verified interface supporting the xyz:SPCX HIP-3 market.

TradeXYZ allows users to connect an existing non-custodial wallet or create an embedded wallet. Its interface may be restricted in the United States and other jurisdictions.

Step 2: Deposit USDC

Deposit USDC through a supported route into the Hyperliquid environment.

Confirm the network and destination carefully. Sending assets through an unsupported chain can result in a loss.

Step 3: Move USDC to the Equities Account

TradeXYZ maintains separate balances for:

  • Standard Hyperliquid crypto perps
  • XYZ equity perps
  • Spot assets

Transfer collateral into the Equities [XYZ] account before attempting to trade SPCX.

Step 4: Search for xyz:SPCX

Confirm that the market is the XYZ SpaceX equity perpetual.

A similarly named spot token or another platform’s SPCX product will not provide the same exposure.

Step 5: Choose Long or Short

  • Long: Profits if the contract price rises, before fees and funding.
  • Short: Profits if the contract price falls, before fees and funding.

Both positions can lose money quickly.

Step 6: Select Leverage

Use the lowest leverage consistent with the intended strategy.

A 10% adverse move can eliminate the initial margin of a 10-times leveraged position before accounting for maintenance-margin requirements, fees, or slippage.

XYZ equity markets are currently isolated-only. Margin assigned to one isolated position does not directly support another position, and margin generally cannot be removed while that position remains open.

Step 7: Set the Order and Risk Controls

Review:

  • Entry price
  • Position size
  • Liquidation price
  • Stop-loss
  • Take-profit
  • Estimated fees
  • Current funding rate

A limit order can reduce entry slippage, but it may not fill.

Step 8: Monitor Funding and Off-Hours Risk

Hyperliquid funding is paid hourly. Depending on the direction of the funding rate, long positions may pay shorts or shorts may pay longs.

XYZ equity markets remain tradable outside traditional stock-market hours. During weekends and overnight sessions, internal pricing mechanisms may be used because the underlying Nasdaq market is closed.

A trader can still be liquidated during those periods. Liquidity may be thinner and prices more volatile.

Key Risks

Tokenized Stock Is Not Necessarily Stock Ownership

“Backed one-to-one” means an issuer says it holds a corresponding amount of the underlying asset. It does not automatically make every tokenholder a shareholder under U.S. corporate law.

Read the prospectus, final terms and redemption documents—not only the exchange’s marketing page.

Issuer and Custodian Risk

Token holders rely on multiple entities:

  • Token issuer
  • Share custodian
  • Broker-dealer
  • Security or verification agent
  • Exchange
  • Blockchain
  • Smart contracts
  • Redemption provider

A failure or dispute at any layer may restrict trading or redemption even when SpaceX itself remains financially healthy.

Redemption May Be Limited

Some products allow cash redemption but not share delivery. Some allow redemption only through the issuer. Some exchanges provide no direct redemption service at all.

The ability to buy a token instantly does not guarantee an equally liquid exit.

Token Prices Can Diverge From SPCX

Price differences may emerge because of:

  • Nasdaq being closed
  • Thin DEX liquidity
  • Delayed arbitrage
  • Withdrawal restrictions
  • Redemption limits
  • Stablecoin volatility
  • Network congestion
  • Sudden demand on one exchange

Compare the token price with a live SPCX quote before trading.

Contract-Impersonation Risk

Fake SpaceX tokens already exist across public blockchains. Some use official-looking names and logos while trading for tiny fractions of a cent. Searching by ticker alone is unsafe.

Smart-Contract and Bridge Risk

Self-custodied tokenized stocks introduce risks that do not apply to an ordinary brokerage account, including contract vulnerabilities, wallet compromise, bridge failure, and irreversible transfers.

Perpetual Liquidation Risk

A perpetual position can be liquidated during a brief price spike even when the trader’s longer-term view later proves correct.

High leverage reduces the distance between the entry and liquidation price.

Funding Risk

A position held for several days or weeks can accumulate material funding expenses. Funding can also change direction as market positioning shifts.

Oracle and Weekend Risk

Equity perps and tokenized products may continue trading when Nasdaq is closed. During those periods, the reference price may rely on internal markets, last-traded prices, market-maker estimates or separate oracle methodology.

Monday’s Nasdaq opening can create a rapid repricing.

Regulatory and Geographic Risk

A platform may restrict a product with little notice if regulations, licenses or issuer requirements change.

xStocks broadly excludes the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Ondo excludes ordinary U.S. access and applies additional investor-status restrictions in certain UK, Swiss, and EEA markets. Backpack applies another set of exclusions.

Tax Treatment Is Not Uniform

Direct shares, asset-backed tokens and perpetual futures may receive different tax treatment.

Relevant factors can include:

  • Capital gains
  • Dividend or deemed-dividend treatment
  • Withholding tax
  • Derivatives taxation
  • Foreign-asset reporting
  • Stablecoin disposals used to fund a purchase
  • DeFi transactions
  • Token rebasing or dividend reinvestment

Consult a qualified tax professional familiar with both digital assets and foreign securities.

Conclusion

The arrival of SpaceX on Nasdaq created several parallel markets almost immediately: the regulated stock, multiple tokenized representations and a rapidly growing derivatives market.

That expansion gives crypto users more ways to obtain exposure, but it also makes the basic question—“How do I buy SpaceX stock?”—more complicated than it appears.

A person buying SPCX through a broker, SPCXx through Kraken, SPCXon through Ondo, SPCXB through Binance and xyz:SPCX through Hyperliquid may see broadly similar prices while holding five legally and economically different instruments.

Before purchasing any of them, verify:

  • Whether the product is a share, token or derivative
  • Who issues and custodies it
  • Whether it is backed by real SPCX
  • What rights the holder receives
  • How it can be sold or redeemed
  • Which contract address is official
  • Whether the product is legal and available in the buyer’s jurisdiction
  • What fees, funding costs and tax consequences may apply

The easiest route is not necessarily the one that provides the strongest ownership rights. The most liquid route is not necessarily the safest. And a token bearing the SpaceX name is not necessarily connected to SpaceX at all.

What is the official SpaceX stock ticker?

SpaceX Class A common stock trades on Nasdaq under SPCX.

Is SPCXx the same as SPCX?

No. SPCX is the Nasdaq-listed security. SPCXx is an xStocks token designed to track SPCX and backed by shares held through an off-chain custody structure.

What is the difference between SPCXx, SPCXon, and SPCXB?

SPCXx is issued through xStocks, SPCXon is an Ondo tokenized stock, and SPCXB is part of Binance’s bStocks framework. Each has a different issuer, legal structure, blockchain deployment, redemption process, and jurisdiction policy.

Is Backpack’s SPCX the same as Nasdaq SPCX?

Not while it remains in tokenized form on Solana. Backpack says the token can be deposited into Backpack Securities and converted into a corresponding traditional security entitlement by an eligible customer.

Do tokenized SpaceX products provide voting rights?

Most do not provide the same voting rights as direct SPCX ownership. Kraken and Bybit explicitly state that SPCXx does not make the holder a SpaceX shareholder. Ondo has introduced a system for tokenholders to express voting preferences, but that is not necessarily identical to directly exercising shareholder voting rights.

Can SPCXx be redeemed for real SpaceX shares?

The xStocks issuer may support redemption into cash value or the underlying security under applicable terms, eligibility requirements and fees. However, not every exchange provides this service directly. Bybit says redemption is not available through its platform.

Can SPCXon be redeemed for a SpaceX share?

Ondo’s standard global tokenized-stock structure provides cash or stablecoin redemption based on the underlying value. It does not give the tokenholder a right to take delivery of the underlying share.

Which tokenized SpaceX product can be converted into a real share?

Backpack says its tokenized SPCX can be deposited through Backpack Securities and converted into the corresponding traditional security entitlement, subject to account eligibility and platform terms.

Why did Hyperliquid’s SPCX perpetual generate more activity than tokenized spot markets?

Perpetuals do not require the operator to acquire a SpaceX share for every contract traded. Traders can repeatedly open and close leveraged positions using margin, allowing notional turnover to expand far beyond the amount of shares or collateral available to token issuers.

Does trading volume mean Hyperliquid is the safest option?

No. High volume may improve execution, but it does not remove leverage, liquidation, funding, oracle or smart-contract risk.

Can U.S. residents buy tokenized SpaceX products?

Most globally distributed SPCXx, SPCXon and SPCXB products exclude U.S. persons. U.S. residents who want SpaceX exposure can generally seek direct SPCX shares through a U.S.-regulated securities broker, subject to that broker’s requirements.

Is SPCXx available in India?

Kraken’s India-specific SPCXx page currently states that the product is not available in India. Other platforms apply their own policies, so Indian users must check each provider’s current product eligibility rather than assuming availability across exchanges.

Can SpaceX tokens be traded on weekends?

Some tokenized products can be transferred or traded on-chain during weekends, while direct minting, redemption or centralized-exchange order books may operate only 24/5. Prices can diverge from the underlying stock because Nasdaq is closed.

Is an SPCX perpetual suitable for long-term investing?

Perpetuals are generally designed for trading or hedging rather than passive ownership. Funding costs, liquidation exposure and lack of shareholder rights can make them unsuitable as a substitute for long-term equity ownership.

Which Route Is Best?

The appropriate route depends on the objective.

For direct long-term ownership:
A real SPCX position through a regulated brokerage or eligible crypto-native securities platform offers the clearest ownership structure.

For fractional crypto-funded exposure:
An asset-backed token such as SPCXx, SPCXon or SPCXB may be more convenient, but the buyer must understand the issuer, custody and redemption model.

For moving between traditional and on-chain holdings:
Backpack’s SPCX structure provides a stated conversion route between its Solana token and a traditional security entitlement.

For leveraged trading or short exposure:
SPCX perpetuals provide deeper speculative functionality. Hyperliquid’s XYZ market attracted substantial activity around the IPO, while Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, and Coinbase International also list derivatives in supported regions.

None of these products should be chosen solely because their ticker looks most similar to SPCX.
