Crypto-linked stocks fell on Friday as Bitcoin (BTC) traded below $84,000, with American Bitcoin Corp. (ABTC), Circle Internet Group (CRCL), Coinbase Global (COIN) and Strategy Inc. (MSTR) all trading lower.
According to data from CoinGecko (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), Bitcoin was at $83,929.52, down 0.6% over 24 hours, after moving between $83,229.60 and $85,207.72. Its market capitalization stood at about $1.69 trillion, while 24-hour trading volume was roughly $37.17 billion.

Among the major crypto-linked stocks, ABTC posted the steepest decline in the session, falling 6.09% to $9.02. CRCL dropped 4.69% to $88.64, while COIN declined 2.01% to $195.20. MSTR was down 1.60% at $159.03, according to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC).
American Bitcoin leads stock declines
According to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), American Bitcoin was the biggest decliner among the stocks listed, falling to $9.02 from a previous close of $9.60. The shares opened at $9.70 and traded between $8.87 and $9.71 during the session.

ABTC had a market capitalization of about $1.1 billion at the time of the data. Its 52-week range was $4.92 to $112.50, highlighting the large price swings the stock has experienced over the period.
Trading volume was about 887,010 shares, below its average volume of roughly 1.77 million.
Circle falls after recent Binance deal
According to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), Circle shares declined 4.69% to $88.64, compared with a previous close of $93. The stock traded between $87.59 and $92.20 during the session. Circle’s market capitalization was about $24.12 billion.

The decline follows Circle’s recent agreement with Binance, under which Binance bought $100 million of Circle Class A common stock in a private placement. Circle disclosed the transaction in a September 17 Form 8-K, with Binance purchasing 1,237,011 shares at $80.84 each.
The companies also expanded their commercial arrangement covering USDC held through Circle’s Modular Smart Contract Wallet infrastructure.
Coinbase trades lower
According to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), Coinbase fell 2.01% to $195.20, with shares trading between $192.58 and $199.75. The stock’s previous close was $199.21. The exchange operator had a market capitalization of about $51.46 billion. Its shares have a 52-week range of $139.11 to $402.16, according to the quoted market data.

Coinbase’s stock also carries relatively high market sensitivity, with a five-year monthly beta of 3.39. The figure indicates that the shares have historically moved more sharply than the broader market, although beta does not predict the direction of an individual session.
Strategy shares extend crypto-linked weakness
According to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, declined 1.60% to $159.03. The shares opened at $162.75 and traded as low as $156.78. The company had a market capitalization of about $63.2 billion, with a 52-week trading range of $81.81 to $365.21.

Strategy’s equity remains closely watched alongside Bitcoin because of the company’s large Bitcoin treasury. The broader crypto market’s performance can therefore be an important factor for investors assessing the company’s stock, although its shares do not represent a direct claim on Bitcoin.
Robinhood also trades lower
According to data from Yahoo Finance (on September 25 at 19:00 UTC), Robinhood Markets (HOOD) fell 1.36% to $119.18. The stock traded between $117.53 and $121.90, compared with a previous close of $120.82. Robinhood’s market capitalization was about $107.24 billion. Its five-year monthly beta stood at 2.34, while its trailing price-to-earnings ratio was 52.78.

Unlike ABTC and MSTR, Robinhood’s business extends beyond crypto trading, giving its shares exposure to a broader mix of financial-market activity.
Crypto equities remain mixed by business model
The declines varied in magnitude. ABTC’s 6.09% drop was followed by CRCL’s 4.69% decline, while COIN and MSTR posted smaller losses. HOOD also moved lower but by less than the other stocks.
The different business models behind these companies mean their shares can respond differently to Bitcoin prices, trading volumes, crypto-market activity and company-specific developments.
For now, Bitcoin’s move below $84,000 provides the main market backdrop, while the individual stocks remain subject to their own earnings, balance sheets and corporate developments.
