Key Highlights
- Ripple minted 811,026 RLUSD on the XRP Ledger on August 6, according to data from XRPScan.
- The issuance increased RLUSD’s circulating supply as the stablecoin continues expanding across the XRPL ecosystem.
- RLUSD surpassed 50% of the total stablecoin supply on the XRP Ledger in July, becoming the network’s largest stablecoin by supply.
Ripple has minted 811,026 RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, according to on-chain data from blockchain explorer XRPScan, adding to the circulating supply of its U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin.
The transaction was confirmed on ledger 106,109,031 at 7:37 IST on August 6, with the tokens issued by the RLUSD issuer account through a multi-signature transaction, according to XRPScan data.
While stablecoin issuers routinely create new tokens to meet demand, the latest mint comes as RLUSD continues expanding its presence within the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

Latest mint adds to growing RLUSD supply
According to XRPScan, the issuer account created 811,026 RLUSD in a successful payment transaction.
The ledger record shows the transaction:
- Was executed using a three-signer multisignature configuration.
- Paid a network fee of 0.000405 XRP.
- Delivered the full 811,026 RLUSD amount to the destination account.
Ripple has not publicly stated the purpose of the issuance. Stablecoin mints are commonly used to support exchange liquidity, institutional settlements, treasury management, or customer issuance requests.
RLUSD crosses half of XRPL stablecoin supply
The latest mint follows RLUSD’s rapid growth on the XRP Ledger.
In July, RLUSD surpassed 50% of the total stablecoin supply on XRPL, becoming the largest stablecoin by supply on the network. The development came as RLUSD trading activity continued increasing, with the stablecoin recording more than $2.5 billion in cumulative trading volume since launch, according to previous reports.
The growth has moved RLUSD ahead of other stablecoins on XRP Ledger and reflects increasing competition among dollar-backed digital assets.
Stablecoin market grows more competitive
RLUSD’s expansion comes during a broader increase in stablecoin activity across the crypto sector. Dollar-backed tokens such as USDT, USDC, and RLUSD are increasingly being used for trading liquidity, payments, and settlement applications across different blockchain networks.
However, supply growth alone does not determine long-term adoption. Stablecoins typically compete based on liquidity, exchange availability, regulatory status, and real-world usage.
XRP Ledger stablecoin activity gains attention
For XRP Ledger, the growth of RLUSD represents a shift in the network’s stablecoin landscape as more liquidity moves toward Ripple’s issued asset. While the latest mint increases RLUSD’s supply, broader adoption will depend on whether users, exchanges, and applications continue integrating the stablecoin.
The August issuance marks another increase in RLUSD’s circulating supply following its rapid growth on XRP Ledger in recent months.
