Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest purchased about $4.46 million worth of shares in BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) on Monday, while also selling some Robinhood stock.
According to ARK Invest’s daily trading report, the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) bought 67,700 BitMine shares, the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) purchased 21,890 shares, and the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) added 12,360 shares. Together, the three funds now own 6.7 million BitMine shares, valued at around $284 million, according to their fund documents.
At the same time, ARK Invest sold $5.13 million worth of Robinhood (HOOD) shares. Recently, Robinhood also announced that it would be added to the S&P 500 index, causing its stock to jump 15.8%.
On September 6, 2025, ARK Invest bought $16 million worth of BitMine shares and $7.5 million of Bullish stock across its ETFs, further increasing its exposure to crypto-related equities.
BitMine’s Ethereum Holdings
BitMine is the world’s largest corporate holder of Ethereum (ETH), with over 2 million ETH now on its balance sheet, worth around $8.9 billion.
In just five months, the company has collected 1.7% of all Ether and is the largest corporate holder, owning 42% of the 4.9 million ETH that other companies have together accumulated. BitMine is expected to keep buying, as it has reached only 34% of its goal to hold 5% of all Ether.
BMNR closed at $43.79 on Monday, up 4.16% for the day, with after-hours trading seeing a slight increase to $43.84, according to Yahoo Finance.
