B Strategy is moving to reshape digital asset investing by launching a U.S.-listed BNB treasury company. The initiative, supported by YZi Labs, aims to raise $1 billion and operate as the “Berkshire Hathaway” of the BNB ecosystem.
As per the announcement, the company will hold BNB as a strategic treasury asset and also dedicate resources to foster ecosystem growth. Besides, the project has already secured backing from prominent Asia-based family offices.
The firm intends to leverage its U.S. listing for transparency while using its Asia-Pacific footprint for liquidity and market coverage. Consequently, this dual presence allows follow-the-sun execution and access to global investor networks.
Additionally, the team behind B Strategy includes top veterans such as Leon Lu, Max Hua, Ni Ming, and Henry Wu. Their track records span Metalpha, Bitmain, Morgan Stanley, Shearman & Sterling, and Ledger Capital.
Strategy and Market Position
Leon Lu emphasized disciplined treasury management and a clear mission. “By combining our crypto-native expertise, APAC distribution, and U.S. public-market discipline, we believe now is the right time,” he said.
Moreover, the company will follow a “maximize BNB-per-share” strategy with YZi Labs’ strategic guidance. The plan includes investing in core technology, providing grants, and backing community initiatives to strengthen BNB adoption.
Max Hua added that the firm will bring industrial-grade governance and investor safeguards. “We’re bringing that operator’s discipline to the company: independently verified holdings, best-in-class custody, rigorous risk limits, and seamless cross-border processes,” Hua stated. Hence, the company seeks to offer institutions a trusted gateway to the BNB ecosystem.
BNB’s Expanding Role
Ella Zhang of YZi Labs highlighted why the asset stands out. “BNB is emerging as the cornerstone utility for the next generation of capital markets and financial systems,” she said.
Furthermore, BNB processes 12.5 million transactions daily and ranks second in global dapp adoption. Today, BNB trades at $864.95 with a 24-hour trading volume of $3.27 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.
