Phantom, the most popular crypto wallet for the Solana blockchain, announced on August 5, 2025, that it has acquired Solsniper, an AI-powered trading platform specializing in Solana memecoins.
Solsniper is known for its lightning-fast tools that allow traders to monitor new tokens, track wallets, and act instantly in the fast-moving Solana ecosystem. Phantom says the acquisition marks a major step toward evolving from a wallet into a full-featured trading and analytics platform.
The move aligns with Phantom’s broader goal of becoming a comprehensive Web3 hub. Earlier this year, the company raised $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Sequoia and Paradigm, bringing its valuation to $3 billion.
Phantom CEO Brandon Millman shared the news on X, saying, “So excited to welcome @0xmaz_ and the @solsniperxyz team to @phantom. They are one of the best teams in crypto and I can’t wait for them to bring their experience and expertise into Phantom as we build out new features and tools for more types of users.”
Phantom also confirmed that Solsniper’s web platform will continue to operate independently, with additional features expected soon.
What’s Next for Phantom and Solsniper?
The acquisition is another ambitious move in the roadmap of Phantom since it is not only a crypto wallet. As a precision trading, analytics, and user-centric application, Phantom is establishing the foundation to have a more profound presence in the Solana trading ecosystem.
