Well-known Hyperliquid crypto trader, James Wynn, has once again captured attention with a bold investment move. He has deposited $468,000 worth of USDC into Hyperliquid. He has opened a 40x leveraged long on BTC with the liquidation price of $115,570.
As per Lookonchain’s X post, after declaring a referral reward of 6,792.53 USDC, he went long on $PEPE with 10x leverage. The money came from Binance’s Hot Wallet, and it’s the latest in a series of big transactions for Wynn.
Wynn has been busy with crypto lately. A week ago, he added $27,522 in USDC, and two weeks ago, he put in $20,725. This bold move highlights that he likes taking big risks, particularly with trades that employ borrowed money to bet on coins like PEPE and BTC.
Wynn had employed different platforms like Uniswap and KuCoin, and recently betted on ZEUS memecoin. But Hyperliquid is special to him because it has no extra fees, and the platform allows traders to use a lot of leverage, which means that they can make big gains with less of their own money.
This makes it perfect for someone like Wynn, who likes making chancy decisions in the fast-changing crypto world. Crypto enthusiasts are paying close attention to Wynn because he is famous for making risky trades.
