Two large FARTCOIN holders have sold a combined $6.07 million worth of the token to buy over 1.04 billion PUMP tokens. The switch comes at a time when some traders are looking at newer meme coins for possible gains.
One wallet, known as ‘CTRWQ3’, sold a total of 2.75 million FARTCOIN, valued at around $3.52 million. In return, it bought 598.57 million PUMP tokens. This happened in the early hours of Tuesday. Another wallet, ‘9qwZtG’, sold 2 million FARTCOIN, worth about $2.55 million, to get 440.77 million PUMP tokens.
Both transactions were spotted on the Solana blockchain and were shared publicly by on-chain tracker Lookonchain.
These are among the largest single swaps into PUMP so far. The PUMP token powers Pump.fun, a popular Solana-based platform used to launch meme coins. As more traders explore Pump.fun, interest in its native token has grown quickly.
FARTCOIN, on the other hand, has seen increased selling pressure in recent days. Just last week, a different whale sold $3.9 million worth of FARTCOIN only three days after buying it, taking a loss of over $600,000. That move was also seen and shared by people who study the blockchain.
No one knows for sure why the whales moved from FARTCOIN to PUMP. But many think it means they are no longer confident in FARTCOIN. Meme coins come out almost every day, so traders often jump from one to another quickly.
While FARTCOIN still has a strong online community, some traders say the large sales may affect short-term price movement. PUMP, meanwhile, could see more attention if similar big buys continue.
It remains to be seen whether this marks a full trend or just isolated trades. For now, the market is watching wallet activity closely to track where the biggest holders move next.
