Ethereum Etfs Outpace Bitcoin As Inflows Surge; Eth Price Eyes $3K

In a notable shift, the U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have outpaced weekly inflows of Bitcoin ETFs, reflecting growing dominance and demand for Ethereum.

As per the Sosovalue data, Ethereum ETFs attracted a notable $285.84 million in net inflows for the week of May 30, 2025—its largest weekly inflow in the past two months. Meanwhile Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $157.40 million for the same week.

This marks a significant reversal from recent trends, with Ethereum ETFs posting consistent inflows across all four trading days that week. The momentum has also carried into the current week, with Ethereum ETFs accumulating $244.58 million in inflows so far, outpacing Bitcoin ETFs, which recorded $197.44 million.

Over the past three weeks, Ethereum ETFs have marked consecutive positive inflows, showing its strongest streak since December 2024. This sustained interest in Ethereum ETFs has coincided with a 45% price increase for ETH over the past 30 days.

The shift in capital flows suggests a potential rotation from Bitcoin to Ethereum, with analysts speculating that Ethereum’s outperformance potentially signals the start of an altcoin season. Ethereum’s ecosystem, bolstered by its smart contract capabilities and recent corporate treasury adoptions, is driving investor confidence.

At the time of writing, ETH is trading near $2,608—down 4.07% in the past 7 days. As the continuous ETF flow is showing no signs of slowing down, this push is expected to lead Ethereum price breaking above $3,000 and potentially march towards its all-time high in next few weeks.
