Bybit, the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange globally in terms of trading volume, has revealed that it has hired Israel Buzaym as its new Brazil Country Manager.
The strategic hiring reaffirms Bybit’s focus on strengthening its presence in Latin America and promoting cryptocurrency uptake in one of the most vibrant markets in the region.
In his new position, Buzaym will oversee efforts to expand Bybit’s brand in Brazil through initiatives centered on user acquisition, local partnerships, and building Web3 infrastructure.
His aim is to further the company’s engagement with the Brazilian community by providing products that are specifically suited to their needs and contributing to the digital transformation of the country.
“Brazil has a central place in the worldwide crypto ecosystem,” Buzaym said. “Bybit’s vision to connect technology with people is my own personal goal of developing the Web3 economy in Brazil by education, innovation, and partnership.”
Bybit has already made a bold move in the region with the introduction of its hassle-free crypto payment platform Bybit Pay and a huge collaboration with Tomorrowland Brasil.Â
The company is positioned as the exclusive payment partner of the 2025 and 2026 instalments of the world-famous music festival. Bybit has the goal to introduce real-life applications of crypto to the mainstream.
Helen Liu, Bybit’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the firm’s long-term dedication to Brazil: “It’s one of the fastest-growing crypto markets in the world. Israel’s leadership will be crucial in providing localized solutions that address the needs of this dynamic community.”
Buzaym will represent Bybit in significant events, such as Web Summit Rio 2025, emphasizing the exchange’s role in shaping Brazil’s Web3 future. Through this appointment, Bybit hopes to build additional bridges between crypto innovation and the daily lives of Brazilian people.
