Cme Group Futures Now Available On Robinhood

CME Group, the world’s largest derivatives marketplace, and Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, have partnered to bring the popular futures of CME Group to the Robinhood app.

In the coming weeks, all eligible users of Robinhood will be able to trade futures across five major asset indices like the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, Russell 2000, and Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Users can also access crypto futures for bitcoin and ether, offering exposure to the digital asset market. Major foreign exchange currency pairs will also be available for trading. Also, for commodity traders, futures on gold, silver, copper, crude oil, and natural gas will be available.

Julie Winkler, Chief Commercial Officer at CME Group, explained that the demand for the future is growing as more self-directed investors look for diverse opportunities.  However, expanding access to futures trading will help educate and empower these traders, and CME Group looks forward to working with Robinhood to provide the necessary tools and resources.

This partnership is a big step forward for CME Group, making Robinhood the top choice for active traders, said JB Mackenzie, VP and GM of Futures and International. He also added that their new, easy-to-use mobile trading ladder is designed for quick and efficient trading.

Mackenzie said, “This reimagined experience, coupled with some of the lowest fees in the industry, makes trading futures at Robinhood an easy decision.”

Moreover, CME Group provides educational resources for both new and experienced traders,  including free online courses, webinars, tutorials, and expert insights through the CME Institute and Futures Fundamentals.

Robinhood offers educational content to help customers make informed decisions. This resource includes future articles on the Robinhood Learn and YouTube videos. Last year, the company also expanded its services by adding index options, futures trading, and a new desktop platform named Robinhood Legend.

It also launched futures trading for assets like the S&P 500, oil, and Bitcoin. Robinhood Legend, a web-based platform, offers advanced charts and real-time data to attract active traders.
