Hamster Kombat players say new updates “unfair” to early users

Many early users of Hamster Kombat have complained that the new updates provide an unfair playing field to new users.

Hamster Kombat players say new updates “unfair” to early users

Several early users of the Hamster Kombat gaming project have objected to the launch of new Web2 and Web3 games on the platform, claiming that they give an “unfair” advantage to new users, who can now earn both “keys” and $HMSTR tokens.

The early users have also criticized multiple delays in the airdrop of Hamster Kombat tokens, which was initially scheduled for July. According to these users, now new gamers of Hamster Kombat are better suited to earn a maximum $HMSTR tokens by simultaneously playing multiple games on the platform, thereby killing the lead maintained by early users.

If users are not engaging with all the games while others are, they may receive lower airdrops despite early participation.

Hamster Kombat, the popular gaming platform known for its engaging crypto-driven gameplay, has recently revealed plans to launch multiple new Web2 and Web3 games on its platform, introducing features like game keys.

The ambitious expansion announcement by Hamster Kombat has drawn criticism from early users who feel that these changes may disadvantage them and muddy the waters regarding the airdrop rewards.

Challenges for users with Lower-End Phones

A major concern voiced by players is the practicality of managing multiple games on lower-end devices. With the new suite of games, many users worry that those with more powerful phones will have a competitive edge.

The introduction of several games on the platform raises a key question: Is it necessary for players to engage with all of them to stay competitive? If not, why launch multiple games if it isn’t mandatory for players to participate in all of them?

The push to explore all available games may seem like added pressure, especially for those with less capable devices. For many users, the idea of juggling several games at once feels overwhelming and may seem like an undue burden. This has led to frustrations about the perceived disparity in opportunities and rewards among players based on their device capabilities.

Concerns about Airdrop Fairness

Another pressing issue is the airdrop system. Many early adopters who diligently completed daily combos and ciphers are finding that their rewards are not as substantial as those of newer users who are playing multiple games and collecting more keys. This has raised questions about the fairness of the airdrop distribution and whether it rewards those who engage in more games rather than those who have been committed from the start.

I'm not trying to be negative here, but please tell me honestly

How can a common person with a lower-end phone play all these big games? If it’s not compulsory to play all the games, then why introduce them in the first place? (That’s my first question)

The role of keys in this ecosystem remains unclear. Players are eager to understand how these keys will be utilized and how they will impact their airdrop rewards. The lack of transparency around this issue has fueled dissatisfaction, with users feeling that their time and effort might be undermined by a system favoring more recent or active players.

The Need for Clear Communication

To address these concerns, Hamster Kombat must provide clear and detailed information about the new features, the role of keys, and the airdrop criteria. Transparency will help restore user trust and ensure that all players feel valued and fairly treated regardless of when they joined or what devices they used.
