This highly promotes the organization and the launch of accelerator projects.
Olympus is unique due to its initially introduced approach called Open Stake which ensures flexibility for projects, mentees, and investors to associate. This unique approach sets it apart from traditional, exclusive accelerators, which often cater only to startups and developers within a specific industry.
Dfinity’s founder Dominic Williams highlighted the platform’s purpose as a creation providing fair chances for projects that deserve them irrespectively of origin. The platform operates on a trustless perpetual loop, utilizing the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) to verify any of the project’s growth metrics on-chain.
Supported by Web3 Labs, it is assisted by some VC funds such as Fenbushi Capital and Softbank Vision Fund.
