Charles Hoskinson, the founder of the blockchain platform, has unveiled a major upgrade to the RATS staking pool he co-launched three years ago.
The pool, whose name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Hoskinson’s “King of Rats” moniker bestowed by a rival CEO, has been a popular destination for Cardano users to delegate their ADA crypto and earn rewards.
But now, the RATS pool is leveling up with the integration of Cardano-node 8.9.1, enabling it to sign Mithril certificates and leverage the network’s new peer-to-peer features for improved connectivity.
Hoskinson took to social media X to rally his followers, urging them to delegate their ADA to the revamped RATS pool. He promised that all staked funds would be funneled into “RATS related shenanigans” – a tantalizing tease of exciting developments to come.
