The latest update revealed that trading resumed in view-only mode at 2:40 AM UTC, with full trading returning at 2:45 AM UTC after addressing identified issues. Bitfinex expressed gratitude for users’ patience during this time.
The community reacted cautiously, with many expressing concern, although Cryptoiz Research reassured them of Bitfinex’s impending recovery, stating, “Bitfinex maintenance almost done!”
While Bitfinex typically experiences few technical issues, this recent performance problem is notable. However, unlike technical glitches, Bitfinex has a history of facing multiple hacks and exploits.
