Square Enix and HyperPlay have announced their collaboration, which includes creating a web3 gaming platform. Square Enix has disclosed its stake in HyperPlay intending to broaden its blockchain game store and introduce its own NFT game SYMBIOGENESIS.
Through the partnership, it is clear that the company is keeping up-to-date with blockchain, web3, and AI advancements within the industry.
HyperPlay believes that not all developers in the world are satisfied with the platform, where only servers and development tools are provided through numerous games.
JacobC.eth, HyperPlay’s founder, revealed that the funding would be used to support new business structures that can benefit both players and developers.
HyperPlay plans to expand its platform by adding more stores, platforms, and entertainment features as it updates.
The company is aiming its products at Mac customers, allowing them to launch their priority and get the benefits of the HyperPlay features within the app, with Q2 2024 Prime Gaming integration coming next quarter.
