On Friday, Hut 8 announced that Matt Prusak, the chief commercial officer, will be stepping down from his position at the digital asset company on January 31, 2024. He is leaving to lead a new bitcoin-mining venture.
It’s noteworthy that Prusak, as mentioned in previous reports related to Celsius Network LLC’s bankruptcy, will be taking on the position of Chief Executive Officer at a newly established Bitcoin mining company upon its emergence.
In his new role, Prusak will serve as the chief executive officer following the bankruptcy proceedings of Celsius Network.
Prusak, who previously held the position of Commercial Chief at U.S. Data Mining Group since early 2021, joined Hut 8 in late November. The merger between Hut 8 and U.S. Data Mining Group was completed in November.
