Memecoin Trader Becomes Millionaire With Elon Musk X Tweet

One lucky investor turned an initial $10,000 investment into slightly over $1 million in less than ten days after Elon Musk changed his Twitter bio to “Chief Troll Officer.”

According to data from Etherscan, the trader swapped 4.3 Ether (ETH), valued at around $10,000 at the time, for a whopping 19 trillion TROLL tokens.

The same day, a trader sold 9 trillion TROLL tokens to recover their initial investment. They still have 10 trillion tokens left, which were valued at $1.34 million at one point.

Although the token’s price has dropped since then, the remaining TROLL tokens are currently worth an impressive $864,000, and this represents an incredible gain of 8,540% from the trader’s initial investment.

TROLL was initially launched in April 2023 and, like all meme coins, experienced a brief price surge before retracing to near its launch price. However, on January 9, when Elon Musk updated his Twitter bio to “Chief Troll Officer,” the token’s value skyrocketed by over 150,000% in just three days.
