The Twitter account of Uniswap DEX founder Hayden Adams was breached with the hacker taking account access and posting several phishing tweets.
A suspicious tweet from Hayden’s account was inviting UniswapX users to check if they are eligible to receive $UNI tokens as gift.
Uniswap Foundation shared a tweet confirming Hayden’s account was hacked. “Do not click this link – or links in similar tweets which might go up,” said the official handle, warning people not to interact with anything posted.
A Twitter user noted that the linked website is freshly registered. Wu Blockchain, a popular crypto reporter, claimed it was a SIM swap hack with the attacker taking over the victim’s phone number to access the account.
Hayden’s account is resorted and it’s now in control.
