In a startling revelation from the heart of Montenegro, ex-head honcho and the brain behind the creation of Terra Labs, Do Kwon, has been hit with a judicial verdict of fraudulence. He was found culpable of toting a bogus Costa Rican passport as he schemed to depart from the nation back in March.
A judicial communique revealed that this faux pas landed Mr. Kwon a stint of four months behind bars, according to a court statement..Â
Despite the charges leveled against him, Do Kwon maintained a stance of innocence during his hearing on Friday, as reported by local news outlets.
Prior to this episode, Kwon had been detained within the confines of Montenegro for a half-year duration. This is while the justice system weighed the prospect of fulfilling an extradition plea emanating from his homeland, South Korea.
Kwon attempted to leave Montenegro using falsified travel documents unaware that these documents were forged, and claimed he received them from a ‘Chinese-named agency,’ recommended by a trustworthy friend.
