Winter is here as Warner Bros. Discovery, and HBO collaborates with Nifty’s to launch Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm Series 1 Hero Box NFTs in January 2023.
In November, Warner Bros announced the launch of ‘Game of Thrones’ NFTs on Nifty’s with 3D-content company Daz 3D foreseeing the design, development, and production of the “Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm” NFT experience.
According to the latest announcement, the presale for the Hero Box NFTs will happen on January 10, 8 am PT, and the public sale is on January 10, 12 pm PT.
Avatars and digital collectibles from Westeros’s Northern regions will be included in the debut Hero Box.
A total of 3,450 Series 1 Hero Boxes will be available during the presale with one box per Nifty’s account as the limit. A further 1,500 Hero Boxes will be made available for public sale with two further boxes per Nifty’s account as the maximum.
50 Hero Boxes will be held back from the first sale to be used in community events, giveaways, customer service issues, and promotional activities during the project’s many stages.
Each Series 1 Hero Box comprises:
- One Hero (or Legendary Hero) avatar
- Nine Resource Cards to build your realm
- Three Story Cards, featuring iconic scenes, characters, and locations from Game of Thrones
The box’s big attraction is its assortment of avatars, which are only accessible during the publication of certain chapters. They have a variety of features like Longclaw, a devoted direwolf partner, etc. Additionally, fans will be able to enhance their avatars by gathering various resource cards.
Hero Boxes can be purchased on the Nifty website with a credit card, debit card, or cryptocurrency. Prior to the release date, the sale’s price will be disclosed.
While story and resource cards will be minted on Palm, Hero Boxes and Hero Avatars will be minted on Ethereum.
On Nifty’s secondary market, users may buy unopened Hero Boxes as well as individual digital collectibles from boxes that have already been opened. On OpenSea and other Ethereum marketplaces, avatars and unopened hero boxes will also be for sale.
