Crypto exchange Huobi is collaborating with Visa to issue the Huobi Visa Card worldwide. Under this partnership, both parties intend to provide an efficient and effective development of the virtual asset industry.
The launch of this product is going to create a new fiat-to-crypto gateway for its users while also boosting Huobi as a brand in the digital market. The Huobi Visa Card will initially be available in several European markets and will roll out in other regions in the coming days.
As Huobi and Visa are great in their respective areas, the cooperation could bring global financial inclusion, as per Justin Sun, a member of Huobi’s Global Advisory Board.
Cuy Sheffield, the Head of Crypto at Visa said that “Visa wants to serve as the bridge between the crypto ecosystem and our global network merchants and with financial institutions as well.”
He also said that the company will be excited to work with Huobi so that its brand will reach as many consumers as it can. This card is linked to all accounts of Huobi users such that Huobi users can easily convert virtual assets balance into Huobi accounts to easily pay for their required goods and services. Users can use this card at the 80 million merchant locations worldwide that accept Visa.
