The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Access Abu Dhabi have partnered with Unstoppable Domains, a Web3 identity platform and NFT domain name provider to give every woman in the UAE capital a free crypto domain.
Along with a crypto domain they will also be given a free NFT and blockchain domain. The purpose of this giveaway is to enhance and encourage women’s Web3 knowledge and participation.
Women will be provided with a decentralized web address and digital identity which will give them complete control of their data and content within a space that they fully own.
Since 50% of the small to medium-sized enterprises are already women-owned in Abu Dhabi, this opportunity to capitalize on Web3 opportunities could be life-altering for these Arab women.
Eng. Abdulla Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Acting Director General of ADIO said, “The partnership with Unstoppable Domains to provide free crypto domains to all women in Abu Dhabi and embodies the emirate’s promise of inclusion, while creating opportunities for private sector participation in a fast-growing space.”
The initiative was announced during a Access Abu Dhabi-sponsored delegation visit to the UAE capital by the “Women of Web3”, a group of US-based female tech entrepreneurs working towards global expansion.
