The digital collectible marketplace, VeVe is back with yet another collection in collaboration with Marvel. The collection features the comic “Invincible Iron Man #118” in a fully readable digital format.
The comic depicts the first appearance of James “Rhodey” Rhodes as well as Iron Man’s mission to save himself and expose rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
A total of 10,000 editions were dropped, in five different rarities. The quantity of editions of each rarity dropped are:
- Common — Classic Cover: 6,000
- Uncommon — Vintage Variant: 2,250
- Rare — Hero Variant: 1,000
- Ultra Rare — Vibranium Variant: 500
- Secret Rare — True Believer Variant: 250
The drop took place in a blind box format. The drop also featured VeVe-Exclusive Rare & Ultra Rare covers designed by Marco Turini.
The collection was dropped on May 17, at 8 AM PT. The list price of each item was $6.99.

Like each VeVe x Marvel drop, a 6% licensor fee was levied in addition to existing VeVe’s 2.5% secondary market fee.
VeVe also warns collectors that during periods of high traffic, such as this drop, the rarity of their digital comic would be known to them only after delivery to their collection, which may take 30–120 minutes.
