Snoop Dogg to Debut NFT on SuperRare in the Miami Art Week

In Brief:

  • Snoop Dogg’s NFT enters SuperRare for the first time.
  • Original artwork was provided by Coldie and Snoop Dogg.
  • Participants are expected to participate between Nov. 29th and Dec. 3rd.

Snoop Dogg tweeted on 25th November, about the release of his very first NFT on SuperRare. Snoop Dogg and Coldie each contributed unique art to the DECENTRAL EYES DOGG, which also includes a new audio track by Snoop.

I am excited to announce DECENTRAL EYES DOGG. A collaborative 1 of 1 that @Coldie conceptualized and created in collaboration with me! This piece will evolve over time!Make Art n Make Change. The work will will be auctioned on @SuperRare and at Art Basel. https://t.co/LSalLMbF5L

Despite the fact that this is not the first Snoop Dogg NFT, it is the first to have audio, and fans are eager to hear his distinct voice.

Interested participants are said to take part between November 29th and December 3rd in this exclusive timed auction.

The artwork will also be on display during the forthcoming Miami Art Week. During Art Week, it can also be found on the monolith at the Flager Street Art Festival.

Snoop Dogg said in a statement, “Over the last year I have become a collector, a creator and a collaborator of art on the blockchain. This technology has inspired me to rethink how I work and release my art into the world. Coldie is a thought leader, and I am a big fan of what he is creating so when he told me about his concept for this portrait I was immediately on board. In fact, I had to get in the lab and give it that personal touch. You don’t just see it, you feel it and you hear it. You digg. I want this piece to stand out as a representation of my vision in the metaverse. It’s Decentralized, Decentral eyes.”

Coldie is a multi-award-winning mixed media artist whose stereoscopic 3D art has been featured in national juried art shows across the United States, cryptocurrency events around the world, and a Bonhams exhibition in London. He became an early crypto artist who began creating in 2017, his blockchain themed artwork.

His blockchain themed artwork, including the ‘Decentral Eyes’ portrait series, gives a personalised visual representation of the disruptive industry.

This is the following statement stated by Coldie, “the opportunity to collaborate with Snoop has been an amazing experience. Bringing together our creative minds in a way that was fun and experimental checks all the boxes of what I look for in my art-making practice.”

Snoop Dogg has always been a NFT enthusiast and even invited Fidenza NFT holders to his NFT NYC Party 2021 through a tweet saying ‘A Party For One.’
