Stan Lee Signed Portraits to Sell as an Ethereum NFTs

The Ethereum blockchain will offer a collection of Stan Lee portraits created by celebrated comic book artist Rob Prior

Rob Prior, a famous comic book artist offering a collection named Legacy Collection as an NFT which will contain portraits of comic book legend Stan Lee. Each portrait features a signature from the comic book legend Stan Lee.

The Legacy Collection: Portraits of Stan Lee, includes paintings of the Marvel icon with some of his top concoctions. Prior will release NFT versions of the Stan Lee paintings on October 27 through Mogul Productions.

Mogul Productions will hold a special auction with its non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace and decentralized finance (DeFi) platform for the film and entertainment industries.

On Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Mogul will auction off ten pieces of Stan Lee’s artwork produced in collaboration with the man himself. The collection will run till Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.

The winners of the auction will receive an original physical artwork accompanied by a 1:1 ERC-1155 NFT. As a result of a friendship based on a mutual love of comic books, Lee and Prior collaborated on Portraits of Stan Lee over a multi-year period.

In all, Prior has painted 65 of the iconic comic cover portraits featuring Lee, the largest standing nearly nine feet tall.

Rob Prior said, “This collection of paintings uniquely captures the life and work of Stan.  A tribute to my friend Stan and the icons he helped forge, the Legacy Collection will forever be one of my proudest endeavors. I’m honored to share these pieces with you now.”
