American presidential candidate and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy’s Strive, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASST) acquired an additional 3,311 Bitcoin (BTC) last week, raising its total holdings to 32,773 BTC, according to an announcement by Chairman and CEO Matt Cole.
The updated treasury carried a marked-to-market value of approximately $2.7 billion, based on a Bitcoin price of $82,300 as of 4 p.m. EST on October 9, 2026 as per market data. The purchase continues the company’s established pattern of regular Bitcoin accumulation as part of its strategy to increase Bitcoin per share.
Cole shared the update on X on October 13, 2026, and directed readers to two Form 8-K filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for further details. One filing covers the weekly capital markets update, while the other addresses developments related to the company’s preferred stock.
These disclosures build on earlier filings that had reported holdings of 29,462 BTC as of October 2, 2026, following a 2,000 BTC purchase between September 28 and October 2.
The company has funded much of its Bitcoin growth through a combination of common equity activity and its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, which trades under the ticker SATA.
SATA is designed to trade near a $100 stated amount and provides a variable cash dividend. Proceeds from SATA issuances and other capital raises have supported Strive’s Bitcoin purchases while the company has maintained a debt-free balance sheet. Previous weekly updates from the company have shown SATA accounting for a majority of capital raised in certain periods, with warrant exercises contributing additional proceeds.
Warrant Exercises Generate $208M Ahead of Expiration
Strive reported that $208 million in warrants were exercised in connection with the latest capital activity. Approximately 15.3 million warrants remain outstanding and are scheduled to expire today at 5 p.m. ET, according to Cole’s announcement and the accompanying SEC filing.
Warrant exercises have served as a recurring source of capital alongside SATA sales in recent weeks. In the prior week’s update, the company noted that warrant exercises contributed $56.7 million while SATA accounted for 61.5% of capital raised for that period’s Bitcoin purchase.
The timing of the remaining warrant expiration creates a defined window for additional capital inflow that could support further Bitcoin acquisitions or other corporate purposes. Strive’s approach has emphasized accretive capital raises relative to its Bitcoin holdings, with management previously highlighting metrics such as Bitcoin per share and an amplification ratio that it has sought to increase while Bitcoin trades below $100,000. The company has also disclosed a repurchase facility of up to $500 million for SATA shares in earlier filings.
SATA Minimum Issuance Price Formalized in Governing Documents
Cole further stated that SATA’s $100 minimum issuance price is now a binding restriction in the company’s governing documents, formalizing the protection. This change means Strive will not issue new SATA shares below the $100 level. The preferred stock is structured as a perpetual instrument with a variable rate, currently set at levels that have supported daily dividend payments to holders. The formalization of the floor aims to preserve the intended trading range and support the instrument’s role as a financing tool for the Bitcoin treasury strategy.
SATA’s outstanding notional value has grown significantly over recent months as Strive has issued shares to fund Bitcoin purchases, consistent with the company’s ongoing accumulation approach detailed in prior weekly updates. Earlier in the third quarter, the company reported acquiring 8,137 Bitcoin at an average cost of $78,885. As of September 30, 2026, filings showed 28,000 Bitcoin held with a fair value of roughly $2.34 billion, cash and cash equivalents of $284.7 million, and an average acquisition cost of $90,170 per Bitcoin. These figures provide context for the scale of the latest addition, following a series of purchases that had previously taken holdings to 27,462 BTC and 26,355 BTC.
Strive describes itself as a structured finance company and institutional asset manager that has adopted Bitcoin as its hurdle rate for capital deployment. The firm became publicly traded in September 2025 following a reverse merger and later completed an acquisition of Semler Scientific that added to its Bitcoin holdings. Its asset management business, operated through a registered investment adviser subsidiary, manages assets across exchange-traded funds and other vehicles. The dual structure allows the company to pursue both operating revenue and Bitcoin accumulation.
The latest purchase positions Strive among the larger public corporate Bitcoin holders. Ongoing capital markets activity, including the warrant exercises concluding today and continued access to SATA issuance above the formalized floor, will determine the pace of further accumulation. Investors can review the full details in the linked SEC Form 8-K filings referenced in the company’s October 13 update.
