Capital B, a Paris-listed Bitcoin treasury company, has bought another 13 BTC for about €0.97 million, taking its total Bitcoin (BTC) holdings to 3,538 BTC.

As per the official announcement on September 28, the purchase was funded through a €0.98 million equity raise under Capital B’s ATM agreement with TOBAM. The company issued 172,978 new shares at an average price of €5.68 per share. Capital B said its Bitcoin treasury strategy has produced a 2.20% BTC Yield year-to-date, along with a BTC Gain of 62.1 BTC and a BTC € Gain of about €4.6 million.

Capital B’s equity‑driven buying could boost per‑share Bitcoin exposure, attracting more investors seeking crypto‑linked returns.
Continued BTC purchases may lift the company’s market valuation, especially if Bitcoin sustains current price gains.
Future financing rounds may rely on TOBAM and similar partners, reinforcing Capital B’s growth model amid regulatory scrutiny.

Capital B Expands Bitcoin Holdings

The latest purchase is part of Capital B’s continued push to increase its Bitcoin holdings through equity financing.

Capital B acquired 4 BTC for about €0.27 million on September 14, 2026, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 3,525 BTC. The purchase was funded through a €249,651 capital raise, with the company issuing 44,227 new shares at an average subscription price of €5.64 under its ATM-style agreement with TOBAM.

Following the latest purchase, Capital B’s 3,538 BTC have a combined acquisition value of about €310.6 million, giving the company an average acquisition cost of approximately €87,805 per Bitcoin.

According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin was trading at around $82,985.48, up 2.2% at about 08:15 AM UTC. At this price, Capital B’s 3,538 BTC holdings would be worth approximately $293.6 million. Capital B also said it holds another 61 BTC for operational purposes. Those coins are kept separately from its Bitcoin treasury and are not included in its Bitcoin treasury performance metrics.

TOBAM Backs Latest BTC Buy

The latest capital increase involved three TOBAM funds. TOBAM Bitcoin Alpha Fund subscribed for 97,303 shares, while TOBAM Bitcoin Enhanced Fund bought 53,027 shares. TOBAM Bitcoin Treasury Opportunities Fund subscribed for another 22,648 shares.

The total issue raised €982,872.69. Capital B said the average subscription price of €5.68 was 3.8% above the company’s previous closing share price. Swissquote Bank Europe executed the latest Bitcoin purchase and provides custody for Capital B’s Bitcoin through technology from Swiss digital-asset infrastructure company Taurus.

Capital B’s Funding Push

Capital B has increasingly used equity financing to expand its Bitcoin treasury. Earlier in September, the company raised €7.6 million from Blockstream co-founder Adam Back to support its Bitcoin strategy. Back has also participated in previous Capital B financing rounds.

In June, shareholders approved additional financing capacity intended to support the company’s Bitcoin treasury strategy. The company’s approach is focused on increasing the amount of Bitcoin held per fully diluted share over time. Capital B uses BTC Yield as one of its key indicators to track this metric.

The company, however, said BTC Yield should not be treated as a traditional investment return, profitability measure or financial performance indicator.

Ranking in the Top 25 List

Capital B ranks among the 25 largest publicly listed Bitcoin holders, based on BitcoinTreasuries’ data. Strategy ranks first with 846,000 BTC, followed by Twenty One Capital with 43,514 BTC, and Japan’s Metaplanet with 43,000 BTC. Capital B currently holds the 25th position with 3,538 BTC. Its Bitcoin treasury has grown rapidly from 40 BTC in December 2024 to more than 3,500 BTC today, with major purchases including 624 BTC in June 2025, 551 BTC in September 2025 and 376 BTC earlier in September 2026. The company continues to use equity financing as part of its strategy to expand its Bitcoin reserves.
