DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV), a publicly traded company, reported on September 21 that it added approximately 101,381 SOL to its treasury in a week starting September 14 to approximately 2,490,304 SOL and SOL equivalents.
According to the official announcement, the increase represents about 4.24% growth in the company’s Solana treasury over one week. The company stated that the rise included continued purchases of SOL as well as organic growth in the treasury. The week-over-week increase in holdings was valued at more than $10 million.
DeFi Development Corp. is a U.S. public company that maintains a treasury policy under which the principal holding in its treasury reserve is allocated to SOL. The company also operates an AI-powered online platform that provides software subscriptions and related services to multifamily and commercial real estate professionals.
Prior holdings and accumulation timeline
On September 14, 2026, DeFi Development Corp. reported holdings of 2,388,923 SOL and SOL equivalents. At that time, the company said it had added 55,491 SOL since August 27, an increase of roughly 2%. Earlier in May, the company reported holdings of approximately 2.3 million SOL.
The latest figures show continued accumulation following the September 14 update. DeFi Development Corp. describes its strategy as including the holding and staking of SOL, the operation of validator infrastructure, and the deployment of portions of its treasury through Solana-based applications.
CHAD over-allotment and financing details
The company also reported the closing of the underwriter’s exercise of its over-allotment option related to the initial public offering of CHAD. The exercise generated approximately $1.65 million in additional gross proceeds through the issuance of 206,250 additional CHAD shares.
CHAD is DeFi Development Corp.’s Nasdaq-listed Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock. The company established an at-the-market offering facility for up to $300 million of CHAD. Issuances under the facility are intended to occur at or above CHAD’s $10.00 stated amount. The preferred stock was structured to serve as a source of capital for the acquisition of additional SOL.
In the same announcement, the company stated that quarter-to-date, SOL outperformed the Nasdaq-100 by 54%. It further stated that DFDV’s stock outperformed SOL by a factor of two over the same period.

Market capitalization stood at $69.777 billion, with a fully diluted valuation of $75.362 billion. 24-hour trading volume reached $6.257 billion. Circulating supply was 587.437 million SOL.
The token remains 59.5% below its all-time high of $293.31, recorded on January 19, 2025. It trades far above its all-time low of $0.5008 from May 11, 2020.
