Solana has announced the launch of a tokenized version of Strategy’s publicly traded stock, bringing $MSTR onchain through the network’s ecosystem.
In an X post on Tuesday, the network said, “BREAKING: $MSTR from @Strategy is live on Solana via @sunrise, issued by @Backpack Securities.”
The launch allows users to access a tokenized representation of Strategy’s stock across Solana-based applications, expanding the network’s activity around tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). According to the announcement, the tokenized MSTR shares are issued by Backpack Securities and made available through Sunrise, an onchain asset platform focused on bringing stocks and other financial products into blockchain markets.
Where users can access tokenized MSTR
Following the rollout, tokenized MSTR became available across several Solana-based wallets and trading platforms. Solana said users can access the asset through applications including Raydium, Jupiter Exchange, Phantom, Titan Exchange, Kamino Swap, dFlow, Fomo, Archer Exchange, and Mayan, among others.
The token page on Tokens.xyz shows the MSTR asset trading on Solana with market information, including price tracking, liquidity data, and supported venues. The rollout allows users to trade tokenized Strategy shares through Solana applications rather than relying only on traditional brokerage platforms.
MSTR trades near $97
The tokenized MSTR shares provide blockchain-based exposure to Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, a company known for its Bitcoin-focused treasury strategy.

Alongside the tokenized launch, Strategy’s publicly traded MSTR shares were trading around $97.44, according to Yahoo Finance data. The stock opened the session at $95.47 and moved within an intraday range of $93.12 to $98.37, showing moderate volatility during the trading session.
Strategy’s market capitalization stood at approximately $35.52 billion, with shares trading ahead of the company’s scheduled Q2 2026 earnings call on July 30.
The stock movement comes as investors continue to monitor Strategy’s Bitcoin-focused treasury strategy, with the company’s valuation closely linked to BTC market performance and its ongoing accumulation strategy.
Why tokenized MSTR matters
Strategy remains one of the largest corporate Bitcoin holders globally, with the company building its treasury strategy around accumulating BTC as a primary reserve asset.
By bringing MSTR onchain, Solana is adding blockchain-based access to a publicly traded company whose valuation is closely connected with Bitcoin market performance.
Unlike traditional equity markets that operate during fixed trading hours, tokenized securities can enable broader accessibility and continuous blockchain-based settlement, depending on regulatory frameworks and platform availability.
Tokenization becomes a growing focus
The MSTR launch follows several other tokenization-related developments on Solana as more traditional assets and crypto tokens move onchain.
In May, UNI went live on Solana through SunriseDeFi and Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) infrastructure, allowing Solana users to access the token through supported wallets and DeFi applications. The integration focused on improving cross-chain availability of UNI through Wormhole-powered transfers.
Solana has also seen the arrival of tokenized equities. In June, tokenized SanDisk shares ($SNDK) launched on the network, giving users blockchain-based exposure to the publicly traded company through tokenized stock infrastructure.
Solana pushes further into tokenized finance
The MSTR launch adds another institutional asset to Solana’s growing real-world asset ecosystem. The network has seen increasing activity around tokenized securities, payments, and financial applications, with companies exploring blockchain-based alternatives to traditional market systems.
While tokenized stocks remain subject to regulatory requirements and availability restrictions depending on jurisdiction, the launch highlights the continued movement of traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks.
