Key Highlights
- Robinhood Chain surpassed Base with roughly 324,000 daily active users, according to Artemis.
- The network’s DeFi TVL reached around $305 million, while its stablecoin market cap climbed to $439 million.
- Growing user activity, liquidity, and TVL highlight strong early adoption, though long-term sustainability remains to be proven.
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 blockchain, has surpassed Base in daily active users, according to on-chain data.
A chart from Artemis dated July 21, 2026, shows Robinhood Chain recording approximately 324,000 daily active users, compared with Base’s 274,500. The data marks the point at which Robinhood Chain moved ahead in the metric.

The chart covers a period from August 2025 to July 2026. Base maintained higher daily active user numbers for most of the tracked period, with frequent fluctuations between 500,000 and over 1 million users at peaks. Robinhood Chain appears only in the final segment, showing a sharp rise that exceeded Base on the most recent date.
The chart also shows Robinhood Chain’s green line crossing above Base’s blue line on July 21. Daily active users are commonly used as an indicator of network activity and user engagement.
Robinhood TVL continues to climb
As of July 22, 2026, Robinhood Chain’s DeFi total value locked stands at around $305 million. This represents an 11% increase over the previous 24 hours and continues an upward trend observed since the chain’s launch. Earlier data showed TVL near $100 million within the first two weeks of operation.
According to DeFiLlama, the chain’s stablecoin market capitalization has reached $439 million, marking a nearly 30% increase over the past seven days. USDG accounts for approximately 64% of this stablecoin volume. When including bridged assets along with native and canonical tokens, total value locked exceeds $950 million.
Daily active addresses on Robinhood Chain have reached the hundreds of thousands, with recent peaks between 245,000 and 300,000. Weekly active addresses have surpassed 1 million. These figures align with reports of over 50% month-over-month growth in daily active users alongside increases in total value locked.
Can Robinhood Chain maintain the momentum?
The increase in daily active users and TVL raises questions about the sustainability of Robinhood Chain’s early growth.
New blockchain networks often experience strong initial activity driven by launch incentives, which can moderate over time. Surpassing Base in daily active users does not necessarily indicate sustained long-term adoption, particularly given Base’s more established ecosystem and developer base.
Similarly, high stablecoin inflows may reflect short-term trading activity or yield-seeking strategies rather than lasting user adoption. Regulatory developments affecting Robinhood’s broader business could also influence its blockchain operations, while bridged TVL can fluctuate as assets move across networks.
Whether Robinhood Chain can maintain its recent growth will likely depend on continued user engagement, ecosystem development, and activity beyond the initial launch period.
