Solflare, a wallet solution for Solana, announced the integration of prediction markets today. The update will allow trading predictions for real-world events on mobile devices.Â
Solflare aims for a direct entry into decentralized prediction by eliminating the need to exit to another browser, especially for those who wish to hedge or gamble on actual events around the globe.
Expanding the Solana ecosystem
The update comes after a series of major expansions of the wallet service. Earlier in December, during the Solana Breakpoint 2025 conference in Abu Dhabi, the development team unveiled Magic AI, a decentralized assistant meant to perform complex on-chain tasks using natural language instructions.
Historically, the Solflare wallet has served as the primary entry point for people using the Solana network. This new update follows a broader trend where crypto apps are evolving into “all-in-one” platforms for various financial services.
Industry shift toward everything exchanges
Recently, Coinbase acquired ‘The Clearing Company,’ highlighting a broader industry trend where major platforms are moving toward becoming “everything exchanges” by integrating diverse asset classes in a single app.
By bringing in specialized expertise from prediction market experts, Coinbase aims to scale regulated event-based trading alongside its existing crypto and equities offerings.

With the integration of such markets, Solfare now supports different types of contract markets, such as political entries, economic information, and sporting outcomes. The development makes use of already established liquidity and infrastructure from prediction market platforms such as Kalshi.
