A crypto trader suffered a loss after selling 22.1 million Binance Life ($币安人生) tokens for just $23,000, only an hour before the price exploded past $10 million. The sudden surge came amid a meme coin rally on the BNB Chain, where retail traders continue chasing gains.
According to Lookonchain, the trader’s unfortunate timing came right before one of the largest meme coin pumps this month. Binance Life’s market cap jumped from a few million dollars to over $190 million.
Blockchain data shows that a few lucky traders made unbelievable profits. One trader, controlling wallet 0xd0a2, turned a small $3,500 investment into $7.9 million in just three days, a return of more than 2,000 times.
He bought 19.8 million Binance Life when the token’s market cap was under $100,000. After taking back his principal by selling 1.3 million tokens, he still holds 18.5 million—making him the largest holder.
Another trader with the wallet address 0x8844 bought 10 million tokens for less than $6,000 — and within just two days, their value exploded to $1.6 million. Likewise, one more trader turned a $120,000 bet into $1.4 million.
BNB Chain’s meme season takes off
According to Bubblemaps, more than 100,000 on-chain traders have jumped into the latest “BNB meme szn,” and around 70% are already in profit. Data from DEXScreener shows that popular tokens like 4, Paul (PALU), and Binance Life saw a massive $335 million traded within just 24 hours. Even Binance founder CZ Zhao couldn’t help but react, posting, “BNB meme szn! I didn’t expect this at all… Keep building!”
At the same time, Nasdaq-listed CEA Industries revealed it now holds 480,000 BNB tokens worth about $624 million, a clear sign that big institutions are starting to trust and invest in the BNB ecosystem. As per CoinMarketCap, BNB is currently trading at $1,322.27, up 4.41% in the last 24 hours.
