The Trump Meme Token team has cleared the air about its viral “Dinner with President Trump” competition. Despite rumors flying on X (formerly Twitter), you don’t need to hold $300,000 worth of $TRUMP tokens to qualify.
In an official post, the team addressed confusion caused by users referencing #220 on the block explorer as the cutoff. That’s incorrect, they say, because it includes locked tokens, exchange wallets, and non-participants. The real ranking is on the official leaderboard.
Right now, the top spot belongs to a user named Sun, who holds over 1.17 million $TRUMP (worth $14M). Surprisingly, user HAR is ranked #220 with just 35.3 $TRUMP—around $420. That means the competition is still wide open.
The contest is based on time-weighted holdings, so the sooner you register and start holding, the better your chances. Simply holding tokens isn’t enough—you must also register on the leaderboard to participate.
Another key point: tokens from the initial unlock and the next three months of daily unlocks will now remain locked for an additional 90 days. This extension pushes them well beyond the contest’s duration, keeping things fair.
The Trump Meme team is calling the response “amazing” and encourages everyone interested to get involved soon.
If you’re holding $TRUMP and dreaming of a dinner with Donald Trump, now might be your chance—with no six-figure investment required.
Caution: Cryptocurrencies, including memecoins, are highly volatile and carry significant financial risks. Memecoins often lack utility or intrinsic value and may be driven by speculation or hype. Readers are advised to do their own research before making any investment related decisions.
