Bybit Launches Crypto Surf With $250K Prize Reward For Traders

Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a new event called Crypto Surf: Ride the Waves with Trailing Stops.

It started today, and will run until May 19, 2025. Traders will have a chance to win part of a $250,000 USDT prize pool, according to the press release.

In this competition, traders can choose to either copy trade or use trading bots. They’ll compete in three areas: Profit and Loss (PnL), Return on Investment (ROI), and trading volume. There’s even a chance to win more by predicting which squad will win.

You’ll need to meet certain requirements to join. For example, you must have at least $1,000 in USDT in your wallet and generate $10,000 in squad volume. Plus, you’ll need to finish Level 1 identity verification.

The prize pool will be divided like this: 40% goes to the winning squad, 30% to the runner-up, and 25% for the top 100 traders by volume. If you guess the winning squad correctly, you’ll get 5% of the prize pool.

To make things even more exciting, the prize pool grows depending on how much trading happens. If the event hits $2 billion in trading volume, the full $250,000 prize will be unlocked.
