According to the data, the network stopped producing blocks at 09:15 UTC and has yet to recover. This has raised concerns with the community, with some suggesting that validator problems could be at the root of the issue.
Upbit, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has paused SUI deposits and withdrawals, citing the network’s issues. Community members are expressing frustration on Twitter, comparing the Sui Network’s downtime to previous incidents with Solana. Is Sui the Next Solana? People are questioning this as the so-called “Solana Killer” as Sui is following in the literal footsteps of Solana.
The Sui team has announced on their official Twitter account about the outage and the stopped transactions. They are currently identifying the issue and are assuring users to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Update: The Sui Network team has rolled out the v1.37.4 patch on Mysten Validators and announced publicly for immediate rollout. The blockchain is now up and working while producing new blocks by validating transactions.
