Oasys Unveils Captain Tsubasa NFT Soccer Spectacle

In a major development for gaming and soccer fans, the blockchain version of the beloved Japanese soccer manga series Captain Tsubasa has officially launched on the gaming-centric blockchain, Oasys.

Developed by Mint Town, Co., Ltd. and BLOCKSMITH&Co., a subsidiary of mobile gaming giant KLab Inc., Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- offers an immersive experience where players can nurture and collect character NFTs from the original series.

Hiroshi Kunimitsu, CEO of Mint Town, Co., Ltd, said, “As well as catering to the global fanbase of Captain Tsubasa, the release demonstrates the unique capabilities of blockchain technology in enhancing interactive entertainment and gaming.”

The release has garnered support from several high-profile professional soccer players, with Yuto Nagatomo (formerly of Inter Milan, now with FC Tokyo) and Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta serving as official ambassadors.

The game immerses players in a unique blockchain gaming environment where they can develop characters, form teams, and compete in various modes. These include Rival Mode, which revisits the original storyline, PvP Mode for battling other players online, and Arena Mode for extensive 11 vs 11 matches.

Special moves in the game come to life through dynamic 3D videos, enhanced by generative background music composed by renowned musician and producer Shinichi Osawa, aka Mondo Grosso. This innovative blend of music and visuals offers a unique and engaging experience for players.

To celebrate the game’s launch on Oasys, GENESIS NFTs will include exclusive features such as an Energy Boost, allowing players to increase their energy by owning up to 10 GENESIS NFTs.

Additionally, these NFTs offer a Withdrawal Limit Increase, enhancing the daily TSUBASAUT withdrawal limit in Rival mode. These features are designed to enhance gameplay and incentivize participation through rewards.

Renowned for its high-speed transaction processing and low fees, Oasys has established itself as a leading platform for gaming. Players of Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- can benefit from these features to ensure a smooth, cost-effective gaming experience.

Oasys has pledged to explore further collaborations with Mint Town, Co., Ltd., and other developers to use premium IPs for blockchain games, reaffirming its commitment to the 2024 Dragon Update vision, which aims to create ‘killer content’ to push the boundaries of gaming and blockchain technology.
