Cardano’s founder Charles Hoskinson’s gaming company, RFLXT, released its first game, Voyager: Ascension, on the Gala Games platform today, April 23. He later alerted users on the X platform about the upcoming project.
The game is a reworked version of the 2018 science fiction first-person shooter Overload and is available for free on Gala Games.
The decision from Hoskinson comes despite Cardano being a blockchain project that also has virtual entertainment features. RFLXT says it has always been targeting as many chains and platforms as possible. In their view, Gala was a natural partner as they shared the same goals.
The company will later release the RFLXT platform, which will be a major phase of the process, with games having Digital Doubles integration. Digital Doubles is an AI product that will allow influencers and streamers to integrate their avatars into the gaming environment.
