TRUMP-Linked Wallets Pull $3.39M From Liquidity Pools

TRUMP-linked wallets use single-sided liquidity on Meteora, allowing TRUMP holdings to shift into USDC as traders buy the token before liquidity is withdrawn.

Wallets linked to the team behind the TRUMP memecoin withdrew $3.39 million in USDC from Solana liquidity pools over 10 hours as the token rallied sharply this week.

If USDC withdrawals continue, thinner pools could amplify price volatility during TRUMP’s rally.
Future token releases may increase supply, pressuring prices as liquidity remains constrained.
Investors will monitor where withdrawn USDC is sent, indicating potential large‑scale sell pressure.

On-chain analyst LookOnChain linked the wallets to TRUMP and said they repeatedly added and removed TRUMP liquidity from pools on Meteora, allowing portions of their holdings to be converted into USDC as traders bought the token.

The activity reflects a liquidity-management strategy previously associated with TRUMP-linked wallets, particularly during periods of increased trading activity when liquidity positions can generate USDC withdrawals.

As per CoinGecko data on August 24 09:00 AM UTC, Official Trump (TRUMP) is trading at around $2.42, up 73.3% over the past seven days, as the memecoin continues to see strong buying momentum.

How the liquidity strategy works

The wallets have been using single-sided liquidity positions on Meteora, a decentralized exchange operating on Solana. Instead of selling large amounts of TRUMP directly through the open market, the wallets first deposit TRUMP into the liquidity pools. As traders buy the token through those pools, the composition of the position can shift toward USDC.

The wallets can then remove the liquidity and withdraw the assets held in the position. Recent wallet activity shows several transactions involving roughly $100,000 worth of TRUMP at a time. In some cases, liquidity was added and removed within minutes, with the resulting withdrawals containing USDC alongside TRUMP.

The wallet identified in the transactions currently holds more than $5.3 million in USDC, according to Solscan data. LookOnChain said the latest series of transactions resulted in $3.39 million in USDC being pulled from the pools over the 10 hours.

A pattern dating back to 2025

The latest transactions follow a pattern that has appeared several times since 2025. LookOnChain first highlighted similar activity in April 2025, when wallets linked to the TRUMP team withdrew about $4.6 million in USDC from liquidity pools. The funds were later moved to Ethereum and deposited with Coinbase Prime, according to the earlier tracking.

The scale increased later in 2025. By December, the same wallet had reportedly withdrawn about $94 million in USDC over a 30-day period.

Arkham Intelligence data at the time showed several large transfers, including batches ranging from roughly $2 million to $17.2 million, moving toward Fireblocks custody addresses associated with Coinbase.

The latest $3.39 million withdrawal is smaller than the activity reported in December but follows the same broad liquidity-management pattern.

Why pool liquidity matters

The withdrawals do not necessarily mean that TRUMP is headed for an immediate sell-off, but reduced liquidity can make the token more sensitive to large trades and sharper price swings.

This becomes more important during a strong rally, as high demand can push the price higher while thinner liquidity leaves less capital to absorb large transactions.

The TRUMP team may also deploy up to 96 million tokens from its unlocked supply over the coming months. The team’s July 15 update discussed its unlocked-token inventory and potential deployment for ecosystem development, partnerships, acquisitions and related initiatives..

Investors will be watching whether the same wallets continue cycling TRUMP through Meteora liquidity pools and where the withdrawn USDC moves next.

Losses remain a concern

The activity also comes against a difficult backdrop for many TRUMP holders. About 1 million TRUMP buyers were reportedly sitting on $3.81 billion in losses from the token’s launch, highlighting the gap between the gains available to early or insider-linked holders and the losses experienced by many retail traders.

Large TRUMP holders can use liquidity positions to convert part of their holdings into USDC as trading activity rises, while retail investors remain more exposed to price movements.

The team may also release additional TRUMP tokens from its unlocked supply, which could increase market supply.

The latest transactions do not confirm a broader sell-off or show that the withdrawn USDC has been moved to an exchange. Investors will be watching for further liquidity withdrawals and the movement of the USDC.
