Uniswap Foundation Suggests Uni Token Rewards

The popular decentralized exchange project Uniswap has suggested modifications to its governance, according to the Uniswap Foundation.

The proposal states that the upgrades are intended to encourage more deliberate, involved, and proactive delegation. Compensate users who staked and delegated their UNI tokens on the network, this also involved enhancing the fee structure.

The Uniswap Foundation stated in the proposal that it was “excited to invigorate governance — incentivizing not only delegation but thoughtful and active delegation — by tying delegation to protocol fees.”

It also added, “Specifically, we believe UNI token holders will be incentivized to choose delegates whose votes and engagement with the protocol will lead to the Protocol’s growth and success.”
