The streaming giant, Netflix, brings Black Mirror to the web3 world with its latest creation ‘Smile Club’ developed by the interactive platform Pixelynx.
The Smile Club, inspired by the social credit system in the ‘Nosedive’ episode, sets users a task to get through the Black Mirror universe by earning points for smiling, referrals, and completing challenges.
Participants can exchange points for exclusive prizes. Users can access the experience by smiling to log in and climb the global leaderboard for a unique Smile Pass digital asset. The Pixelynx CEO Inder Phull invites to join “the happiest community on earth” to get out of the reality.
The project based on Coinbase’s layer-2 protocol Base is a joint venture with Banijay, which is related to Black Mirror’s ancillary rights. Decrypt and Rug Radio will team up with Pixelynx for Web3 activations.
