The price of Bitcoin has surpassed a critical threshold as the competition to approve a spot exchange-traded fund intensifies.

At the time of writing, the cryptocurrency with the highest market capitalization in the world had surged to almost $47,000. According to CoinMarket Cap, the price of bitcoin is $47,037, up 6.85% in just 24 hours.
Bitcoin surged to this high after significant companies like BlackRock, Ark, Fidelity, Invesco, Galaxy Digital, and WisdomTree filed updated reports. Around this morning, the Bitcoin price has been back to $45,000.
