The co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, transferred more than $1 million worth of ETH to the well-known cryptocurrency exchange CoinBase Global Inc. on August 21.
Ethereum blockchain explorer Etherscan shows data, that Buterin sent 600 ETH to CoinBase. The transaction was made to another account before it was transferred to CoinBase.
This transaction was made when Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, experienced a drastic decline of over 11% in the last week, which cause the traders, substantial losses with liquidations of approximately $1 billion.
