The market quickly sensed a shift when Finn DeGods, the anonymous co-founder of DeLabs, the startup responsible for the popular Ethereum NFT collection DeGods and Its related project y00ts, revealed their departure from the company.
Finn DeGods had been at the helm of the company for the past two years. On August 17th, they took to Twitter to convey that “it’s finally time for me to embark on the next chapter” while making this significant announcement.
Nonetheless, it’s important to mention that this revelation occurred during a period of significant market turbulence. Despite this reality, Finn disclosed his departure and reiterated the sentiment that “I am still bullish on DeGods and y00ts.”
According to rumors circulating, this development transpired several months ago. It appears that (Finn) simply didn’t possess the ideal skill set for the company, as highlighted by Rohun Vora, one of the prominent co-founders of DeGods.
Finn DeGods also expressed, he holds eternal gratitude for this community, encompassing “all the memories, lessons, and the amazing friends and teammates I’ve had the privilege to work with on this journey.”
