A new partnership between blockchain Layer 1 platform, Avalanche, and Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence division of Alibaba Group, is announced to develop metaverse on the blockchain.
The companies unveiled Cloudverse, a metaverse launcher, at the Avalanche Summit II Conference in Barcelona. The partnership aims to facilitate the fast and seamless launch and maintenance of metaverses for businesses operating within the Alibaba ecosystem.
The third partner, MUA DAO, will help integrate and customize the metaverse service layer. The companies noted that each metaverse space can be ready for business in about a month after initial outreach, with support for visuals, meta economics, interactive functions, events, and continued operations.
The partnership builds on a December 2022 agreement in which Alibaba Cloud began offering infrastructure and tools to help Asia-based users launch validators on the Avalanche network.
